Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemns the ongoing brutal crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation government’s forces against unarmed civilians in the Gaza Strip. It also expresses profound shock at the horrific reports issued by the United Nations Human Rights Office, which document the killing of 875 individuals while attempting to obtain food at aid distribution sites in the Strip.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced the occupation government’s policy of disregarding the lives, humanity, and dignity of the Palestinian people—a policy that constitutes a flagrant violation of all moral values, international laws, and norms.
His Excellency stressed the urgent need for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities in the face of this tyranny; to take an immediate and resolute stance to stop the ongoing massacres perpetrated by the Israeli government's war machine; to activate international deterrent mechanisms; and to hold the perpetrators accountable.
