As part of the museum's international expansion plan, and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League, members of the diplomatic body and senior personalities, the President of Mauritania inaugurated the Museum on the Prophetic Tradition in Nouakchott.

« Nous sommes heureux d’inaugurer le meilleur des musées sur la meilleure des vies : le Musée sur la tradition prophétique dans la capitale du savoir et de la pensée, Nouakchott. Il part de son siège principal, de la terre de l’Hégire, de la Taïba bénie, de la noble Médine, la ville du Prophète (paix sur lui) en Arabie saoudite. »
