The Muslim World League Condemns Israel’s Declared Rejection of the “Roadmap” to End the Conflict in Gaza and Establish a Palestinian State

Makkah:

The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned Israel’s declared rejection of the roadmap for completing the implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, as endorsed by UN Security Council Resolution 2803, as well as Israel’s rejection of the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced this rejection, which represents a continuation of Israel’s persistent policies of violating international laws and UN resolutions and undermining all efforts to achieve peace.

His Excellency stressed the urgent need to compel Israel to fully comply with the obligations stipulated in President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan and its accompanying roadmap, to move forward with the implementation of the plan’s second phase, and to prevent any party from obstructing its implementation. He expressed strong appreciation and support for the statement issued in this regard by the Foreign Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Türkiye, the State of Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as for their unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and steadfast support for their legitimate rights, foremost among them their right to establish an independent, sovereign Palestinian state, in accordance with the two-state solution and relevant international resolutions, as the only path toward achieving a just and lasting peace in the region.
